Elena served as Creative Consultant on season four of Mozart in the Jungle, the hugely-popular Amazon series starring Gael Garcia Bernal, Lola Kirke, Bernadette Peters, Saffron Burrows, and Malcolm MacDowell. In this role, she advised on music, scripts, and casting for the Golden Globe-award winning program.
She joined the team as Creative Opera Consultant during season three, when the colorful storyline took the Maestro and key cast members to Venice, Italy -- including a star turn with Monica Bellucci playing an opera diva (voiced by soprano Ana Maria Martinez) opposite Plácido Domingo. She is Music Producer for Bel Canto, the feature film based on the best-selling novel by Ann Patchett. The adaptation, starring Julianne Moore and Ken Watanabe and directed by Paul Weitz, was released in fall 2018. Renée Fleming is the voice for Julianne's character of Roxane.
